The most affordable way to divorce in Florida. We prepare every required document correctly for a flat $399 and give you step-by-step instructions; you file with the court yourself. Ideal for straightforward, agreed cases. Divorcenters is not a law firm.
A Do It Yourself (DIY) divorce — also called a documents-only divorce — is the most affordable way to end an uncontested marriage in Florida. We prepare every required document for a flat $399 and give you clear, step-by-step instructions; you file them in court yourself.
It’s the right fit if you and your spouse agree, you meet Florida’s six-month residency requirement, and you have no children or property of the marriage. If you share minor children or property, you’ll need a parenting plan or property documents — those are covered by our full-service uncontested packages.
We prepare the Florida forms your case requires — the petition, the marital settlement agreement where applicable, financial affidavits, and the final judgment — done correctly the first time, so the clerk accepts them without a bounce-back.
The $399 is a flat service fee for the documents. The court’s own filing fee — $408, set by Florida statute and the same in every county — is paid separately to the clerk, never folded into our price. There is no waiting period to file for divorce in Florida. Florida law does generally require that at least 20 days pass after the petition is filed before the court can enter the Final Judgment of Dissolution, and a straightforward DIY case is often finalized in about 30 days.
We prepare your documents; you file them with the court.
