What we collect, why we collect it, and what we never do with it.
Last updated: August 2026
This policy explains what Divorcenters, Inc. collects through this website, why, and what we do with it. We keep it deliberately short and specific, because a privacy policy that describes things the site does not do is worse than useless.
When you use our contact form we collect the name, email address, phone number (optional), topic and message you type in. We also record which page you submitted from, and a one-way scrambled version of your IP address that we use only to block automated spam — it cannot be turned back into your IP.
When you use our questionnaire (the “which divorce is right for you” tool), your answers stay in your browser. They are not sent to us and not stored anywhere. Closing the window discards them.
We do not use advertising trackers or analytics software on this site. There is no Google Analytics, no advertising pixel, and no cross-site tracking. The only cookies set are the essential ones WordPress needs to serve and cache pages.
Solely to answer your enquiry and, if you become a client, to prepare your documents. We do not sell, rent or trade your information, and we do not send marketing you did not ask for.
Some steps happen on providers we use rather than on this website — our intake and appointment-booking forms, online notarization, and electronic filing with your county. When you follow a link to one of those, the information you enter there is handled under that provider's own privacy policy.
Enquiries are kept only as long as needed to answer you and to keep an accurate business record. Completed documents that have not been filed are retained for 90 days and then discarded, as set out in our Corporate Disclosure Statement.
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask us to delete it. Email allan@divorcenters.com or call (954) 946-4774 and we will action it.
We take reasonable measures to protect the information you send us. No website or email system is completely secure, so please do not send sensitive documents by email unless we have asked you to.
This site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
If this policy changes, the updated version will appear on this page.
